With over 30 years of distinguished service in various departments of Indian Customs—including Docks, Groups, Bond, Audit, Refund, SEZ, and Excise & Service Tax - Mr. Patnaik has held key leadership roles in divisions responsible for audit and preventive operations.
In addition to his government tenure, he has experience as an exporter of iron ore and possesses deep expertise across the supply chain spectrum, including transportation, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
Mr. Patnaik is highly regarded for his ability to foster strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners and government authorities, with a particular focus on building trust and collaboration across the entire logistics and regulatory framework.

With over 40 years of service in Indian Customs, he brings extensive experience across key departments such as Import, Export, Docks, Refund, Investigation, Drawback, Bond, CFS Management, Disposal, and GST (Appeals). His deep understanding of customs operations reflects a career dedicated to regulatory excellence and operational efficiency.
Along with this, Mr. Singh has been actively involved in the Container Freight Station (CFS) section and has built strong professional relationships with senior leadership of organizations under the Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House (JNCH), earning wide respect within the customs and logistics community.
